Fatal motorcycle wreck


Shreveport Police are investigating a fatal wreck involving 3 cars and a motorcycle this morning.

The incident happened shortly after two this morning on North Hearne just north of Hilry Huckaby Avenue. The victim a white male, whose name has not been released pending notification of next of kin, was driving his motorcycle southbound on North Hearne, when he collided with a 1997 Chevy Monte Carlo. The driver of the Monte Carlo, Lonathan C. Rascoe 22 of Shreveport, was also heading southbound.

When the victim and his motorcycle crashed, Rascoe veered to the left, crossed the median and both lanes of north bound traffic and came to a stop in a ditch. The victim was then run over by Pamela Anderson who was also south bound.

A third car also hit the victim, but left the scene, The only description police have of this car is that it is small in size and dark in color.

Rascoe told police the victim crossed into his lane and causing the collision. Rascoe was tested for DWI and showed a blood alcohol content of 0.00%.
